Product Review: Mothercare All We Know Baby Shampoo and Baby Body Wash

I've been a Mothercare customer for the past 20 years and all my babies have used Mothercare at some point. As soon as they seem to have outgrown the baby bath that we usually give for newborns (in our case Lactacyd), I switch to Mothercare Top to Toe Wash. So this time- with my youngest baby- it was going to be no different...except Top to Toe Wash was not available in any of the branches in my area. Perhaps because we were in a pandemic and supply chains have been interrupted worldwide, I never really found out why.

This made me try another baby bath also by Mothercare- the All We Know Baby Shampoo and All We Know Baby Body Wash. I was quite sure I'd love the shampoo, the body wash I wasn't sure yet.

My youngest baby had the thickest hair of all my four babies so she was the one to use a separate shampoo soonest. I'm happy to say that the Mothercare All We Know Baby Shampoo did not disappoint. It was perfect for her hair, and since I dilute it during use, it's been economical and took us seven months to finish a 300ml bottle. The scent is lovely, too- enough for a fresh feel, but not too strong for a baby.

As for the Mothercare All We Know Baby Body Wash, it exceeded my expectations. Of all my babies, the youngest one had the most sensitive skin as a newborn. I was more accustomed and would have preferred to dilute baby wash before applying it on baby's skin but this one had a creamy texture that would be best applied directly. We have finished a bottle and baby's skin had no adverse reactions. The scent is mild enough to keep her smelling fresh and still have that baby scent that we all can't get enough of.

I definitely recommend these two products. Naturally, if baby has skin issues it would be best to get the advice of your doctor. But overall, these are excellent products and at the best price at only P239.00 for a 300ml bottle. It took us 4 months to finish one bottle of body wash and about 7 months for the shampoo. I would have loved to keep using but by the time my baby turned one, she had to move on to a baby bath more suited to active toddlers. I might write a review on that, too.
